Like many builders, when I was first starting out I needed to win work (and fast), but I didn’t have the time to learn complicated estimating and pricing software in order to get a tender out.

I needed a quick and easy solution to enter in our project costs, add our profit mark up, and come to a final contract price, without getting too fancy and complicated with things.

Which is why I developed the my Priced To Perfection Budget Estimating Tool

  • 97 cost centres to cover all building work stages

  • Cost is automatically calculated (Quantity x Rate) and totalled for each cost centre

  • Cost Summary page where you can enter in your cost allowances for Contingency, Maintenance Warranty, Overheads, Consultant Fees, Tax, Levies and of course - your Profit

  • ​Owner Cost Breakdown page to provide your client with a cost breakdown summary

    if they're requesting this. Your profit is also hidden and not disclosed in the cost summary (if you don't want to disclose this to the client).
